HEX x "Pretty Sweet" premiere and Afterparty!

November 20, 2012

This past Friday night we rolled out to the long anticipated premiere of Girl & Chocolate Skateboards new film "Pretty Sweet" which went down in DTLA at the Orpheum theatre. Well, as could be expected, the name did indeed live up to expectation and with so many banger skaters on two teams this film is labeled by us as nothing other than legendary! Shot on five different film/camera formats and with special effects galore, without saying too much or ruining anything we will say simply that this movie will be relevant and a landmark for years to come. The whole movie included notable performances but we wanna give a shout to our boys MikeMo and Guy Mariano who absolutely killed it. Thanks again to Girl for a spectacular evening and we won't even begin to get into the after party...just look at the photos below! Oh yeah, and in case you haven't seen our case we made for this movie yet you best peep it and get yoself one now... The hottest ticket(s) in town. Premiere and after party! The boys representing pre-show! HEX's Ryan Reyes and David Loy with Nyjah Huston and Ethan Loy. Outside the Orpheum...How sick is that poster of Carrol! Now photos or filming allowed during show, so Girl graciously gave us these Instagram moments.   The Orpheum is one beautiful theatre-inside and out. The moment we've all been waiting for...the countdown has ended! The bar stayed packed no matter what though... Our man MikeMo reppin' that HEX x Pretty Sweet case!    Pre-gaming at the Standard before the afterparty. Leading the charge to the after party through the mean streets of dtla. The line wasn't that bad...good thing we showed up an hour late cause it was packed inside! Riff Raff laid it down for a dope show! Pretty Sweet superstarts MikeMo and Sean Malto got their cases...do you have yours? Whaaatt? Surprise DJ set by Snoop Dogg-or Lion as we may say? Nobody other than Snoop would have a dancing dog, aka Nasty on stage during his set. This guy is untouchable! The crowd was psyching to say the least! The D O double G doing his thang!!! That's a lot of black and white, thank goodness there wasn't any Baker repeats... After a long night we retreated to the comfy confines of our room at The Standard, where we were up pretty late to say the least...until next time...
