I’ve been carrying my gear with this backpack and it’s been great. I also have the DSLR Sling bag but when I need to carry more, this backpack is perfect. Not to mention, I can load my gimbal and my laptop inside and it still had room to spare. Very comfortable too.
I did SO much research before choosing a new camera backpack and I'm so glad I chose this one. I wanted something that could hold a large amount of gear without making me feel like a turtle with a gigantic shell. (I'm only 5'4" so many backpacks are way too big for me once packed.) It's stylish, not too boxy, an has plenty of pockets for organization. The straps are comfortable and the overall distribution of weight makes the bag not feel so heavy when full. Internal dividers are strong and soft without being so plush that they take up unnecessary space. I've only had it for a couple weeks so I can't speak much to wear, but the materials feel high quality and durable. I can fit my Sony a9 body with 70-200 attached, plus a 24-70, 18-24, 80mm, 35mm and a flash in the main compartment all with plenty of room to spare. Plenty of pockets for filters, batteries, cables, etc. I strap my gorillapod to the side and I'm good to go!
I was originally using another brand's backpack that is pretty popular in the photography world, but it was heavy and not very practical. This backpack solved all the problems I had, it's much lighter and easier to get my equipment in and out of the bag. Albeit, the previous bag was more of an everyday bag than a dedicated camera bag, I feel this bag functions much better for photographers and videographers. If I had to find a con with it, I often carry a gimbal more than a tripod, and there really isn't a spot for it in the bag. I wish the tripod straps was more versatile to carry other items, as said gimbal.
