Lots of unique pockets for the person who wants 1/2 Camera and 1/2 backpack!
Finally found a bag that works perfect for my needs, not too large but enough space to carry my mirrorless with two large lenses couple of smaller ones and a bunch of other accessories. I have bought a lot from HEX in the past, including the slings and camera straps, I have excellent quality in this bag is no exception
Perfect fit. Compact in size. Just started shooting sports photography, specifically my sons soccer games. The bag carries my Sony A9, Sony 24-70, 70-200, 200-600, charging cable, two extra batteries, laptop and my lens cleaning kit. Put it over my shoulders, carry as a backpack and we’re ready to go. Great job hex. Sincerely, Nacho
Great storage capacity. Tons of pockets and zippers for small items. I love the design of it and the padding makes it feel extremely reliable. Whoever designed this bag really went all out
Overall this has been a great bag. I typically carry two mirrorless bodies (one often ends up in my Spider Holster, which is amazing), Lenses carried were: Cannon 16-35 2.8 L, 24-70 2.8 L and either a 70-200 2.8L or 100-400 L (both with extended Arca plates) and a small Gitzo traveler tripod. I still had room for another small lens but the bag was heavy. All the gear fit fine and bag was comfortable to wear. Pro's: Perfect size to carry gear all day. Doesn't look like a camera bag makes me feel like less of a target for theft. Sometimes I took the head off the tripod and put the tripod in the bag to be more discrete. I believe this bag will see a lot of use from me. Cons: And these are all very minor. Sometimes I'm standing on a nasty area that I'd rather not put my bag down on. Trying to hold the bag with one hand and close the metal latch (middle center of the backside of the bag) is very difficult with one hand, using a normal latch would make it easier. The padded exterior sides of the bag do not have hard plastic sandwiched behind them to dissipate point load in the event of a drop or something hitting the bag - other brands have this and it distributes the force of the blow and does a better job protecting your gear. The stitching on the top handle were it attaches to the bag is stretching.
