The HEX x Serj Tankian Backpack was developed in collaboration with the iconic artist, composer, and frontman of System Of A Down to meet the demands of Serj’s travel needs.  The bag is finished in premium steel grey brushed nylon and features a lining printed with Serj’s artwork titled “Space Clock”.  There is also a “Space Clock” pin, a hidden earbud pocket, as well as plush lined laptop pocket, separate tablet pocket, and various internal pockets specifically sized for hard drives and other tools of the trade.  More of Serj’s artwork can be seen in the tonal stripes located on the bag’s front pocket and straps. Serj has even composed original music that can be accessed only by scanning the bag’s label with the Arloopa app.  This provides a one-of-a-kind multimedia experience allowing you to hear the soundtrack of the bag.  Wow!

Great "everyday' bag

Got this bag as a gift and it quickly became my everyday work/travel carry on back pack. Really well made and well thought out design.

Best Backpack I've Ever Owned

This thing seriously rocks. I spent a lot of time trying to decide what bag to get, watched tons of reviews, and ultimately pulled the trigger on this one. For what I need it for, it couldn't be better. I'm easily able to carry everything I need for my workday and keep it all very organized. The construction is flawless, it looks and feels great, and there's a spot for (almost) everything. However, perfection isn't possible and while this is as close as I've ever seen, I do have a couple small pet peeves/tweaks I'd make: 1) By far the most annoying is how absolutely atrocious the bottle holder is. It's shallow and does not have enoigh elastic. I'm constantly dropping things out of it, and just forget about even attempting to put my 24 oz Hydroflask in it. I can't even get a regular bottle of water to stay in the pocket. This is unoquivocally the worst bottle holder I've ever had in a backpack. It might as well not even have one. This is the one thing that absolutely NEEDS to be fixed. It's horrible. 2) The squareness if the top of the bag makes getting my 15" MacBook out a bit of a chore. It likes to hook on the top of the bag and I have to fumble with it a bit to get it out. I keep my iPad in the front laptop compartment and I could probably solve this problem by switching them, but I'm not comfortable having my computer in the outside pocket and that much more exposed. 3) I wish there was some sort of decent storage for papers. I bought a plastic top-loader file folder with dividers and that remedied the situation, but something built-in would be incredibly helpful. That's a super rare feature on backpacks, but this could be the ultimate young-professional bag with that addition. This is all without even mentioning how much of a System Of A Down fan I am, which is a pretty cool little plus. This bag is absolutely stellar and I don't see myself moving away from it any time soon. In fact, if those little pet peeves of mine were fixed in a newer iteration, I'd gladly buy another without thinking twice. This bag does (almost) everything I need it to. I can carry all my electronics (MacBook, iPad, and Switch) safely, there are pockets for just about everything you could imagine, it's incredibly durable, looks amazing, and is comfortable and stable enough to use as an EDC as well as on my motorcycles, which I commute on regularly. To be honest, this thing is *so* close to perfect, it almost makes those little annoyances magnified. The bags I've used prior, I've had a ton of complaints and I just sort of learned to live with them. But this one is so intuitive and perfect in every other way, it makes the tiny things glaringly obvious. I couldn't recommend this bag more. In fact, I'm planning on buying the camera version for all of my company's video gear.

Great Backpack

I took this backpack on vacation with me recently and it worked great. I’ve also used it to transport both my work and personal laptops and found both storage pouches to be soft and protective, while the backpack also provides adequate storage for my other items. Well worth the money!

One of the only, 'two laptop compartment' bags on the market!

My biggest draw to this bag was the fact that it has two dedicated sleeves to house two 15" computers/monitors. I work in the creative world so the need for an additional screen while working from home this past year became apparent and now I don't go anywhere without my second monitor. I'd never heard of Hex brand before so I'm new to the family, but this bag solved that issue. Please know, I do not buy bags often whatsoever so this was a big purchase for me.I looked at nearly 50 bags and they all fell short of being able to securely hold my two machines (one being a MacBook Pro 15"). There were bags big enough to hold a second screen/laptop in the main compartment, but this was one of, if not the, only bags that had a dedicated sleeve. Other things I like about this bag now that I've used it for a few weeks... Zippers feel nice and sturdy. The material of the bag inside and out feels higher quality. I think the interior design looks much better in person than it did in pictures (I wasn't 100% sold on it when I viewed it online). The connection to System of a Down is also a neat story, not a huge fan of SOAD but still cool. The clasp that holds the flap part is also sturdy. There is a nice amount of organizational pockets within the main compartment that holds knick knacks like keys, pens, hard drives and dongles. One of my favorite features is on the side is a pocket with a flap that closes magnetically which is a nice place to keep a wallet for easy access. One small negative is my water bottle isn't as secured as I like it beings how it fell out of my bag in the xray scanner at work. But I do also understand water bottle holders are complicated to design and one plus is this one is really nicely fabricated compared to the other mesh style ones I've had on my other backpacks that fall apart. Note, the skinnier profile of the water bottle, the better chance this bag will hold it. An odd feature I haven't quite figured out is the quick access headphone pocket that's at the top of your bag on the back... My qualm is that it's not covered so if it were to rain I'd be worried water could run into it. Another little magnetic flap like the side pocket would have solved this! I have Jabra Active Elites and the case feels a tad bulky inside of it and they're kinda awkward to get out. This might be really ****** to mention, but I kept the foam insert at the bottom of the bag because I like that it made the base more sturdy. Overall I'd highly recommend this bag for someone in the creative field like myself. Lugging around two machines can be a pain but this bag solves that issue beautifully.
