Our Back Loader Backpack is constructed with premium, water resistant, premium materials. It features a padded and fleece-lined multi-use main compartment with configurable and removable partitions to store all of your camera gear, with 3 mesh and velcro pockets on the facing side for additional accessory storage. A top zipper provides quick and easy access to your camera without the need to open main compartment.
The padded and faux-fur lined laptop slot is designed to hold a 15" laptop, but will also fit smaller sized laptops. Our signature front iPad/tablet pocket keeps your tablet or phone easily accessible. The back panel and straps are padded in EVA foam and finished in air-mesh for breathability and comfort. On the side, you will find quick-access tripod straps. Finish it all off with YKK® zipper pulls, custom logo lining, bar-tacked critical seams for durability, premium belting straps, a chest compression strap, a handy ID card pocket, and you have one serious gear pack. Oh and it looks amazing too, 'cause that's how we roll.
I am very happy and please with my recent purchase of the bag, holds everything I need and then some, feels great on the back even when carry it for several hours on end. Love having the secret stash pocket also inside the bag Highly recommend this bag if you are looking for a amazing camera bag without that hiking/exploring back country type of backpack that everyone else makes...
Received my bag a few days ago and barely got to check it out this morning. I packed a Sony a7II with a lens and a battery grip, a Sony a6000 with a lens. I was able to pack my Sigma 16mm, the Sigma 35mm and the massive Sigma 85mm art lens. What really impressed me was that even with all that gear, I was still able to fit my 15” MacBook Pro and an iPad. The tripod holster is an added bonus and I love it. I bought the sling bag, as amazing as it was for on the go, this loader bag takes it to another level. I found a great brand for my camera bag needs. Thank you!
Just got my bag last weekend and so far I love it. I previously had a Lowepro bag and it was very hard to fit all my gear. With this bag I can fit a Sony A7ii with a lens, a Sony A6500 with a lens, 4 additional lenses, a DJI Mavic Air Drone, a DJI Osmo Action Cam, a Microsoft Surface Pro, and all my chargers, cables, and lens filters. I usually tend to overpack so it is nice having the ability to do so!
As a collector of backpacks and someone relatively new to the camera world, I happened upon Hex and loved the design language. I purchased this bag to hold not only my mirrorless digital camera, but my girlfriend’s medium format film camera, small format film camera, and a few lenses. First let me say it fits pretty much everything we need in way of photography which was a feat in and of itself (Mamiya 645 is wonky) and had a few extra design features I was looking for in a bag but it isn’t perfect. Here are some pros and cons we found for us which may help you: •Variety of configurations of foam dividers (not that out of the ordinary for camera bags but still nice) •High quality materials. You can tell this will last for a long time with little maintenance •Looks sweet. It does. •Tons of non camera-specific organization. I found this was lacking in many competitors’ bags. It holds pens and notepads and an iPad fully loaded with camera gear. Cons: •Padding is lacking. This might break in a bit over time but first blush feels not very ergonomic or plush. •Water bottle Pouch. It is there... but don’t expect to carry much more than your standard 16.9 oz plastic water bottle; or something soda bottle sized. •Form over function. In some places like the clip on the front, it seems Hex opted for something that looks a little nicer than it works. I will admit it looks cool but it doesn’t fee very sturdy and a regular plastic clip would probably serve it better •Self-Cannibalizing Compartments. Several pockets I find interfere with other pockets such as the laptop/tablet section going behind the admin/organization. All-in-all: good bag overall. Really good for my needs but not sure this is the best all around option out there. But for this price, it is tough to beat!
So far so good. Initial impressions are that it's really well made and extremely good looking. It's the perfect size for my A7iii and 4 lenses with way more room for miscellaneous gear. It's very comfortable with a full load.
