I took this backpack on vacation with me recently and it worked great. I’ve also used it to transport both my work and personal laptops and found both storage pouches to be soft and protective, while the backpack also provides adequate storage for my other items. Well worth the money!
My biggest draw to this bag was the fact that it has two dedicated sleeves to house two 15" computers/monitors. I work in the creative world so the need for an additional screen while working from home this past year became apparent and now I don't go anywhere without my second monitor. I'd never heard of Hex brand before so I'm new to the family, but this bag solved that issue. Please know, I do not buy bags often whatsoever so this was a big purchase for me.I looked at nearly 50 bags and they all fell short of being able to securely hold my two machines (one being a MacBook Pro 15"). There were bags big enough to hold a second screen/laptop in the main compartment, but this was one of, if not the, only bags that had a dedicated sleeve. Other things I like about this bag now that I've used it for a few weeks... Zippers feel nice and sturdy. The material of the bag inside and out feels higher quality. I think the interior design looks much better in person than it did in pictures (I wasn't 100% sold on it when I viewed it online). The connection to System of a Down is also a neat story, not a huge fan of SOAD but still cool. The clasp that holds the flap part is also sturdy. There is a nice amount of organizational pockets within the main compartment that holds knick knacks like keys, pens, hard drives and dongles. One of my favorite features is on the side is a pocket with a flap that closes magnetically which is a nice place to keep a wallet for easy access. One small negative is my water bottle isn't as secured as I like it beings how it fell out of my bag in the xray scanner at work. But I do also understand water bottle holders are complicated to design and one plus is this one is really nicely fabricated compared to the other mesh style ones I've had on my other backpacks that fall apart. Note, the skinnier profile of the water bottle, the better chance this bag will hold it. An odd feature I haven't quite figured out is the quick access headphone pocket that's at the top of your bag on the back... My qualm is that it's not covered so if it were to rain I'd be worried water could run into it. Another little magnetic flap like the side pocket would have solved this! I have Jabra Active Elites and the case feels a tad bulky inside of it and they're kinda awkward to get out. This might be really ****** to mention, but I kept the foam insert at the bottom of the bag because I like that it made the base more sturdy. Overall I'd highly recommend this bag for someone in the creative field like myself. Lugging around two machines can be a pain but this bag solves that issue beautifully.
Lots of room, looks nice, light weight, fits 2 laptops and lots of other stuff
My friend George Sifuentes is a friend of the creator of this company, he told me about the company and when I looked them up I knew it was the perfect travel bag. It weathered rain and protected my camera and laptop! It has so much room and is so comfortable to use. Thank you for making them. Rachael
