Lets start with the heavy-duty, water-resistant shell featuring genuine Cordura® ballistic nylon. We also incorporated our antimicrobial technology right into the fabric which resists and repels up to 99% of harmful bacteria, mold, and fungus. How awesome is that to help with your travel hygiene!
The Technical Messenger incorporates a top charger pocket that fits perfectly with our wireless charging battery (sold separately) to give you on the go charging without having to deal with public charging stations. This pocket will also accommodate other chargers, but fits so nice with ours.
We also used the new YKK EYL woven "tough zippers" for maximum durability. Plus these zippers use substantially less water in their dying process so they are good for the environment too - win/win!
There is a quick access pocket easily accessible on the front for your most needed essentials. Stay hydrated with the lay-flat water bottle pocket, keep your phone safe in the soft, lined exterior phone pocket. There are even velcro stash pockets at the strap junctions where the strap meets the bag body (it's all about the details). There are cinch straps to carry extra layers as well as a huge deluxe organizer pocket that will keep all your accessories neat. A generous main compartment, and a faux-fur and EVA foam padded laptop sleeve that accommodates up to a 15" laptop. Oh, and don't forget the hideaway rain fly to keep all your goodies dry. Like we said, this is not like any other Messenger you have seen.

Here's some "scienc-y" info for those of you who just gotta know more about our antimicrobial technology ;)
While the term “antibacterial” may be more well known, antimicrobials take germ protection a step further in that they are also effective against molds, and fungi.
Our antimicrobial technology targets harmful microbes by altering their ability to convert nutrients into energy, inhibiting microbial survival and reproduction. We use a zinc pyrithione process delivered in a liquid dispersion form that incorporates the solution directly within the textile fibers. Our treatment is registered with the EPA and FDA as well as notified with the EU BPR and is BluesIgn® and Okeo-Tex certified.
Our fabrics were laboratory tested* using antimicrobial test methods ATCC 100 & ATCC 30 and compared against a control sample. No product can claim 100% elimination or guarantee effectiveness against all kinds of microorganisms and pathogens. However, these tests showed our fabric to repel and resist up to 99% of bacteria, mold, and fungus. This means that whatever your bag comes in contact with, the bag itself is working to eliminate harmful germs and bacteria. We call this process “active hygienics” and it means that any transmission of microorganisms to or from your bag will be diminished.

Regarding COVID-19: Most antimicrobial processes (including ours) have not yet been specifically tested on COVID-19. However, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and World Health Organization (WHO) recommend the use of antibacterial and antimicrobial products as part of a generalized preventative routine against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
