Clamshell Design
The Patent-Pending clamshell design with integrated compression buckles allows you can control how the bag is opened for easy camera access.  Based on your preferences, it can be used as a top-open, left-side open, or right-side open.  The compression straps serve to segregate these three "zones" and protect again over-opening in any one zone.

Exterior Construction
The Ranger DSLR Backpack is constructed in premium, water-resistant 900D ballistic poly. Genuine large gauge YKK zippers with custom metal pulls for strength and dependability. Durable non-skid bottom.

Comfort
The design of the straps has been thoughtfully designed to provide the most comfortable experience while carrying your camera gear on a full day excursion. The one-piece strap is designed to be ergonomic while the padding and air-mesh provide comfort and breathability.

Camera Storage
The Ranger Backpack features a padded and fleece-lined multi-use main compartment with configurable and removable EVA foam partitions to store all of your camera gear. Zippered mesh accessory pockets throughout the internal portion of the bag help organize smaller accessories and cables.

Laptop/Tablet/Phone Storage
The side entry zippered laptop sleeve will hold up to a 15" MacBook Pro. This compartment is padded soft faux-fur lined. The side of the bag has a faux-fur lined zippered phone pocket.

No bag is perfect, but this one comes close..

Traveled to Alaska with a 2 full setups, multiple lenses, tripod, H20 bottle, cable pouch, 150x100 glass filters, etc. Bag filled nicely and slimmed up which was a big plus. Backpack Straps really help alleviate some of that heavy gear weighing down on the shoulders. top part of bag, after inserts were secured, camera body or lenses would fall out onto other gear. Tried tightening the dividers to a much more snugged position, but body or lenses would still fall out. Probably my main gripe with this bag. Switched the body and lenses to all be placed in the bottom of the bag but items that were switched to the top still felt out. Didn’t ever really see much use for the “sd card” slot on the strap but that’s just me. All in all, still a great bag compared to the competition by far. Definitely would recommend.

Go to city and school bag!

Just picked this bag up for myself as a late bday early Christmas gift. I fits all my Essentials and found that I can also fit one school book behind the laptop sleeve and in front of the carry-on strap very well.

The best camera backpack I've ever owned!

I've owned my fair share of camera bags ... somewhere around 75-80 I think I've gone through at this point. You name it, I've most likely tried it. Most of them were cool for one reason or another, but all of them missed something that the other one had so much search forever continued. Until I found this bag by HEX, I did extensive research on line, IG, YouTube and any other outlet I could find to see how it worked in the field. I didn't want something super bulk or heavy (spine issues) but I still need to carry my camera with a few lenses, my drone and it's accessories, my macbook air and I was hoping to also fit my ipad pro 12" if needed. I am happy to say this bag caries it all and with all the compartments in it I was able to downsize a lot of little gadget bags I had been using and put everything away in neat compartments. It is slim and fits again my back easily (Female, 5'4"), fully loaded it's heavy but its not from the bag just the equipment and I like that. 5/5 Stars I would recommend this to all my shooter friends.

THE BEST!

I've been searching for a backpack that would fit my DSLR plus film cameras including the essentials: memory cards, batteries and film. I've held off on purchasing one because the majority of camera backpacks I found didn't fit my needs or weren't the best quality. I happened to see HEX backpacks on Instagram when @strapsbyelroobs posted it on their stories. When I thoroughly researched the backpack I was happy that the camo one was available. I used it on a recent shoot and was able to fit my DSLR, two film cameras and a medium format camera. I'll be using this for years!

The BEST camera bag you can buy

I can't think of one thing they didn't think of! Literally, EVERYTHING you could possibly want is in this bag. Whoever came up with the design is truly remarkable.
