United StatesDoesn't suit my purposes.
I bought this bag for my camera but the way it's designed the bag faces down so that when I open it from hanging on my shoulder the camera will fall out. I need a bag that can open so I can access lenses without worry about dropping them.

I've had my eye in hex for a long time when you guys first came out. I went with other more well known brands at the time. When I travel I bring my photography bag to carry it all. But when I'm at my destination, I'd like to walk around with less and the hex sling does that. The best trait is that it can be flattened to a certain degree and the amount of padding that can be removed and added is enough for when you're carrying it. I carry my mirrorless 70-200 and the 24 to 70mm canon lenses in it just fine, with the R6. So far, so good.

The good: the exterior of the bag is nice. Rain cover is a nice inclusion. Roomy bag with plenty of compartments. Con be folded flat for travel. It’s comfortable to wear. The bad: More ***** pack than sling. Strap location makes it difficult to open the bag while wearing it as a sling. When doing this one must be careful to prevent the contents of bag from spilling out as the zipper opens facing the ground when worn as a sling. Zipper to the main compartment should open away from the body to help prevent this maybe. Also could use a little more padding to provide more protection for camera gear, as the padding provided is extremely thin. Extra padding would also provide a little more structure to the bag. I own the Mini version and love it. This one falls short for me.

This thing has been everything it's advertised as so far! The only complaint I had was the length of the strap. I'm 6'5 260lbs and it felt like a miniature purse, until HEX took care of business and sent me an extender! I still love my full size backpack from 5 years ago too, HEX makes quality products. You won't be disappointed with this Sling!

This bag was everything I hoped it was, I do a lot of photography for fishing captains/chargers so having a waterproof bag was a must for me! Perfect to carry my camera and DJI Mavik Mini
