Exterior Construction
The all-new Ranger DSLR Sling is constructed in premium, water-resistant Cordura®. Genuine YKK zippers with custom metal pulls for strength and a consistent experience.

The Sling features a fold-out bottom panel that can be folded out of the way or completely removed to allow the bag to be packed flat for travel.  Once at your destination, simply fold out the bottom and the bag returns to a structured, protective camera bag.

Camera Storage
The Ranger Sling features a padded and fleece-lined, multi-use main compartment with configurable and removable partitions to store all of your camera gear. Holds everything, from a Leica or Sony Mirrorless or even a Canon 5D with a 24-70mm lens! Zippered mesh accessory pockets throughout the internal portion of the bag help organize smaller accessories and cables.

Streamlined Design
This small, lightweight sling is designed to streamline the storage of DSLR essentials. The EVA padding will protect your gear with flexibility to organize your kit with the padded, adjustable, and fold-away dividers.

Tablet/Phone Storage
The back entry zippered tablet sleeve will hold your iPad Mini or other similar-sized tablets. This compartment is padded soft faux-fur lined and measures 10" x 6.5". The front of the bag has a faux-fur lined zippered pocket to hold your phone or a pair of sunglasses.

Solid bag!

Useful features out of the box like a rain fly and modular camera cube interior. Great materials and well made to boot. The only problem I have with the bag is it’s pretty bulky when you have a full kit inside and it’s certainly not the most comfortable to wear on your back when you do. I’d still recommend.

Love at first site

This is replacing a Mountainsmith waist pack that I was using for carrying my camera gear when I didn't want to carry a huge Ape Case backpack. This will be a great bag, just one note for v3... make it just a half-inch taller so that it can hold an 11" iPad pro

Nice but strap needs work

I’m a bit of a camera bag hag and scored a medium sized black Hex Ranger DSLR Sling. First impressions were good: plain but nice appearance, and flexible storage for a small DSLR or mirrorless and a couple lenses. Indeed, my EOS R with 24-70 fit well, albeit I could only use one divider since the rig had to be stowed length-wise. I’m on the small size—5’8” and 135 lbs—so the strap adjusted well and hung comfortably on my lower back. The strap may be too short for larger photographers. To draw the camera, swing the bag around to the front of your body. At that point I noticed a problem: the bag and lacks a swivel, causing the bag to tip forward at a dangerous angle. In other words, your camera could easily fall out of the bag. A strap swivel would allow the bag to adjust to an upright angle. Hex construction quality is decent but a level below some of my similarly priced bags. Plenty of nicely lined pockets to stash knickknacks. The small zippers pull smoothly but the zipper on main compartment is stiff and sticky. It is padded on the top, bottom and sides! It is thin foam but good enough for minor bangs and short drops. The bag itself is attractive and well designed in terms of storage. Unfortunately, the extreme forward tilt when you draw the camera coupled with a sticky zipper are likely to cause your camera to hit the deck during a Kodak moment. One more bag for my closet (or maybe I’ll carry my lunch in it).

Very happy

I haven’t had the chance to take it on an adventure yet but just from unboxing and the initial check I am very pleased. Plenty of space for all the extra accessories and beautifully built.
